We present to you our new Autumn Winter 2017 collection featuring the:
Golden Ratio as a theory of everything.
Is there really a mathematical principle underlying our perception of beauty?
The Golden Proportion 1.618 is the key to its omnipresence from growth patterns found in nature to Le Corbusier’s Modulor structures.
In collective collaboration with the Berlin Museum for Communication and designer Lea (of Brousseruddigkeit) the creator of the identity for the exhibition, we present to you this graphical collection.
Our special application techniques honour the art of embroidery with raised detail constructions, featuring the Golden sections and special badges. Signature embroidery for the season is – the Golden repeat. Heat seal laser cut techniques showcase clean geometrical prints, and fonts are sliced to display key statements such as the collection title ‘human’, emotion and theory of everything. The new ‘emotion face badge’ is created from the font system.
This season we introduce knitted structures made in Germany; including a high turtleneck jumper with zip, made of 100% merino wool and weighing over 1.2kg in finished weight. Short new wool beanie in coarse knit design, sits alongside super soft rib knit merino wool scarves which are presented on our 4 base colourways of the season: off-white, red, black and navy. Highlight colours of the season are gold, white and red.
Our Base fabric is our premium quality compact jersey with a silky hand feel. Heavy weight paper touch cottons form the base on garments to add a more solid structure to the silhouette especially on the linear pleat line.
Outerwear showcases lightweight jacketing with shower resistant coatings in the form of a coach jacket and zip-through funnel neck jacket which folds away into its own pocket. Trousers are tailored as Jersey Trouser Hybrid with an invisible functioning zip and shirred waistband.
Our Essentials collection is updated with new styles including a Turtleneck, half turtleneck, straight-line sweatshirt, oversized hoody and 1x1 ribs to complement the premium trans-seasonal wardrobe staples. Including reversible sweatshirts, raglan sleeve t-shirts, refined tees, tailored trousers, and pique polo shirts.
Discreet black branding tab features on all hemlines.
